Privacy policy
Replivo is operated by Jason Catalano (ABN 72 558 933 170), referred to here as "Replivo", "we" or "us". We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Who this covers
- Visitors and enquirers: people who use this website or ask us for a demo.
- Our customers: businesses that subscribe to Replivo.
- Our customers' customers: people who call, text or chat with a business that uses Replivo. For these conversations we act on behalf of that business, and their own privacy policy also applies.
What we collect
- Details you give us through our demo form: your name, business name, phone number, email and anything you write in the message.
- For businesses using Replivo: account details, business information, price lists and settings you enter.
- For people contacting a business that uses Replivo: phone number, name if given, the messages exchanged, and job details such as the suburb and type of work.
- Basic technical information such as browser type, collected automatically by our website host.
How we use it
- To reply to enquiries and arrange demos.
- To provide the Replivo service: replying to customers, drafting quotes and invoices, sending follow-ups, payment reminders and booking messages on a business's behalf.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it.
- To bill our customers and meet our legal obligations.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use our customers' customers' details for our own marketing.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run Replivo, and they process information only to provide their service to us. These include our website and server hosts, our text messaging and calls provider (Twilio), our AI provider (Anthropic), which generates replies, and Google Firebase, which delivers app notifications to business owners. Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect the information.
Text messages and opting out
Replivo only texts people who have contacted the business first, or who the business is quoting, invoicing or booking in. Quote reminders include an easy way to stop them by replying NO THANKS, and replying STOP stops all texts from that business.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls, encrypted connections and regular backups. We keep information only as long as it's needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the form on our home page. If your information was collected by a business using Replivo, you can also contact that business directly.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
